Christopher Carr
Certified Life Coach
As a man living with Cerebral Palsy, life wasn’t always so easy. In fact, even the mention of the word used to make me cringe. I understand the level of impact a disability can have in every area of your life. It took me many years of frustration and depression to finally realize that life does not happen to you, it happens FOR you! I had to do a lot of inner work focusing on changing my paradigm by rewiring my sub-conscious mind. I realized that my disability was only a part of me but it did not define me. Another part of my journey was my choice in career. My needs of growth and contribution were fulfilled by working with others with various disabilities and mental health disorders. I found that by sharing my story and bringing awareness to others helped in the process of healing myself and make incredible relationships.
Today I totally am in a place of self-love and appreciation for who I am and what I have accomplished. I realize this was not a curse that was given to me but it actually is a gift that I have received.

l am a warm, down-to-earth and caring therapist working relationally. I operate from an anti-oppressive lens and, as a White therapist, understand the necessity of practicing humility and self-awareness. I believe that my clients are the experts on their own lives; in fact, I see myself as a partner in my clients' journeys of healing and self-exploration. I believe fully that all individuals have the tools to live an authentic and fulfilling life, but that systemic oppression and other barriers can impact one's ability to reach a place of self-actualization. I use an eclectic mix of strategies that I tailor to each individual. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and in school settings and specialize in work with depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting concerns including perinatal depression and anxiety disorders (PMADs), self-esteem, and more. I am a parent and identify as culturally Jewish. Andrea Cimino, LMSW
Psychotherapist
I have spent years of my life transforming into the person I needed when I was younger, a trauma-informed therapist who can recognize symptoms of trauma and work with the client and their support system in order to heal.
Trauma can impact people from a variety of ages and manifest in a variety of ways. It can look like the kiddo in school who explodes at the slightest frustration, or the quietest kiddo who never says anything is wrong. It can look like someone struggling to stay in the present moment and not get lost in their thoughts. It can look like someone fighting each and every day to make it through the day.
However, with great trauma comes greater resiliency.

I have worked in the field of mental health since 2016. I have been trained in a variety of treatment modalities, and in my practice I primarily utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapy designed to alleviate distress associated with memories of traumatic experiences, while also incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Theory.
