Julissa Vásquez

Julissa Vásquez is a strategist, problem solver, and visionary. who is invigorated by finding solutions to complex problems in the most creative ways imagined. She is a lifelong learner who is always curious about the human condition. She leads with passion and care, and her life’s mission is to help leave this world a better place by helping individual souls heal and achieve their greatest potential.

In her fifteen years of experience in the social work field in the areas of program management and development, community health, counseling, education and entrepreneurship she has collected invaluable tools that have shaped and informed her work, and who she is today.  Throughout her career, Julissa has helped countless clients heal from physical and mental trauma and provided supportive counseling to clients recovering from on-the-job injuries. She felt deeply for their pain and desperately wanted to help them be more at ease and feel better.

While looking for alternative solutions for clients to ease their pain, she began to research possible alternatives. She learned about plant medicine, the power of functional mushrooms, and the benefits of Cannabinoid/Hemp. She helped her clients understand how to use Arnica creams, use sleep teas to calm their anxiety, and incorporate Cannabinoid/Hemp to provide additional relief.

She noticed that clients would come back and report they were able to sleep longer, had elevated their mood, which translated into improved intimacy with their partners, and overall had improved their quality of life. Ecstatic about these results, she realized there was something there. A light bulb went off! She realized she needed to find the products, figure out which ones were good and have them all accessible in one place. In that moment, she pivoted her research to find the manufacturers of these products instead; find people in her community to review them, and group them all in one accessible place and thus, her wellness brand Integrate Unconventional Healing was born.

Yet, she realized that she couldn’t stop there, she firmly believed that beyond alternative solutions for healing, adding these products to client’s care routine would only partially solve the problem. What people really needed was to connect with others, where they could be supported, understood and cared for which prompted the adjoining component which is Integrate your Soul Therapy for everyone.

Today, Julissa continues to expand her therapeutic practice by focusing on niche areas and by incorporating novel approaches such as Ketamine assisted psychotherapy, in combination with plant medicine, talk therapy and coaching, to create personally tailored and curated holistic wellness plans for the clients she works with. This holistic care model is what truly lies at the core of Integrate therapies, and is what differentiates her practice from other mental health groups.
